BIO

Born and raised in Belgium, Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude from the renowned Visual Arts School « La Cambre » in Brussels, with a major in Style and Fashion. She started her career in New York City as a stylist for various fashion magazines, including Marie Claire (US Edition) and Jane Magazine where she worked alongside world famous photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Ben Watts, Mario Testino.

In addition to her career as a stylist, Samantha became a Foreign Editor in Fashion and Lifestyle for distinguished European print outlets such as Marie Claire (Belgium), Madame Figaro, Milk Magazine and the renowned fashion website “The Mode TV”.

In 2005, Samantha opened her own children’s boutique, “Pomme”, featuring a large range of goods for kids, located in NYC’s Dumbo and Tribeca. Her boutique quickly became a mecca for European children's fashion.

This is when the mother of three started to work on her own photography project, a website dedicated to Kids Street Fashion, called Les Nominettes. After moving full time to the Hamptons, she chose to turn her focus primarily on landscape photography. With a unique eye for details, she has the ability to capture her surroundings in everyday Still Life. In her eyes the common becomes uncommon. Surprises and astonishments stand at every corner. Her photographic work stands out for its raw graphic expression and unique perspective.

Samantha also currently handles Digital and Social Media content for several brands: Good Westhampton, LT Burger West , Caffeine Westhampton, Skratch Works, R A Capentry and Vanille Soleil

Sam about her work:

"I consider my work as the one of a time archivist. My artistic journey consists of witnessing the passing of time, with nature and  forms as my only companions. For the last 2 years, my main subject has been empty beachs near my home. I find solace in their emptiness and loneliness."
